McMaster MakeBelieve Our club helps children overcome childhood challenges by growing their creativity, leadership and emotional maturity through workshops led by students.

McMaster MakeBelieve's goal is to help children and youth deal with childhood challenges by developing their creativity, leadership and emotional maturity through empowering creative writing, drama, dance, music, art and athletics workshops. Creative development and therapeutic impact is emphasized in all programming – not just ‘enriching lives through art’. The organization also strives to develo

p the ‘power of child-play’ as a lifelong skill by engaging older students and seniors in therapeutic creative arts as well. Childhood challenges include family conflict, illness, anxiety, self-esteem issues, bullying, stereotyping, peer pressure, and other psychological and physical problems that children and youths face. McMaster MakeBelieve aims not just to provide children with 'skill-based lessons in the arts', but instead help them discover each art form as a medium for their own self-expression and emotional release.
