Round 2 of applications for Safe(r) Space and Events Committee Volunteers are now OPEN!! 💜

If you are interested in getting involved with WGEN this year, check out our job postings at msumcmaster.ca/jobs by September 21st at 11:59 PM EST!

WGEN is so excited to open hiring for Safe(r) Space Volunteers and Events Committee Volunteers. The past year has looked different for our service and volunteers, and the coming year will once again look different, but we will always strive to create a supportive and fun community for our volunteers. We will continue to prioritize accessibility and growth in our service and would love for you to be a part of that!
We hope you consider applying to volunteer with our service. If you are passionate about community, supporting your peers, social activism, and creating an inclusive environment on campus, WGEN is definitely the place for you! You don’t have to have any prior experience, or immense knowledge around anti-oppressive work – just passion and a desire to continue learning, unlearning, and growing.
WGEN will work to prioritize applications from racialized folks, 2STLGBQIA+ folks, disabled folks/folks experiencing disability, and survivors of all genders. You are not required to make any disclosures in your application. Please feel free to reach out to us should you need any accommodations, or even if you have any questions or concerns! You can reach us through our socials or by emailing [email protected].

And of course, regardless of whether you apply to work with us, we hope you become part of our WGEN community – we are truly so excited for the coming year 💜🥰
