With this captain: June 7, 14, and 21, Sojourn Community Church will hold its first-ever morning services! We will be meeting at the Armenian Community Centre (191 Barton St, Stoney Creek) at 10 am. We hope to see you there!

This year we are holding a unique Good Friday experience - a Tenebrae Service — this powerful and reflective Good Friday service is centered on readings, music, and the gradual dimming of light.

What is a Tenebrae service?
"Tenebrae" means darkness. Throughout the service, candles are slowly extinguished as we walk through the events of Good Friday. As the light fades, the atmosphere becomes quieter and more reflective, creating space to pause, think, and consider the significance of the day.

Tenebrae is simple, thoughtful, and different from a typical service. It’s a powerful experience whether you attend church regularly or are simply looking for a meaningful way to mark Good Friday.

All are welcome.
