Id like to thank everyone that took part in this years Canadian Walk For Veterans here in Hamilton. It was an amazing turnout and a great success.

A fellow Veteran and Hamilton Police Sgt. Dan Jawoski is coordinating a hockey game between the Hamilton Police and the Argylls where the funds will be going to support the Legion homeless veterans fund here in Ontario.

This event takes place this Saturday, October 3 at 7 PM at the Dundas hockey Arena located at 37 Market St. S.

Please consider coming out and supporting this great event between two organizations that support the community and our veterans.

Please share amongst your community so we can get mass participation as this is a no cost event but a donation to support the Legion homeless poppy fund would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support.

From coast to coast, Canadians showed up to prove no one heals alone.
We want to express our sincere thanks to everyone who walked, volunteered, fundraised, donated, and helped make this year’s Canadian Walk for Veterans possible. With Walks happening in communities across the country, you helped us turn national gratitude into life-changing impact for Canada’s military and Veteran communities.
Together, we’ve raised over $150,000 – and donations are still coming in! Help us honour service through action by giving today: https://truepatriotlove.akaraisin.com/ui/cwfv26/pledge/sponsor/start

Now that things are over support is starting to show again from the political side of things. I had a meeting today with MP John-Paul Danko, who after seeing his wife, Dawn Danko participate in this year‘s Canadian Walk For Veterans wants to show his support for next year’s walk.

Thank you MP John-Paul Danko for your support and we look forward to working with you in the near future as well as all the other political leaders within the City of Hamilton.
