Community Living Hamilton

Community Living Hamilton Community Living Hamilton is a not-for-profit organization and registered charity that offers a full range of services to people with special needs.

We are one of the largest not-for-profits in Hamilton; each year we provide service to approximately 1,000 children, teens, adults and families. Over 60 years ago, Community Living Hamilton was founded by a group of mothers who came together in a church basement to discuss how they could support each other and their sons and daughters with special needs. Since then, we have continued to establish

programs and services that have enabled our clients to fully participate and contribute to their community. We continue to promote full inclusion through person-directed planning; which promotes independence, personal choice and assisting our clients lead the lives they want. Whether it's living independently or in a group setting, working in a supported environment or participating in community activities, we are here to help people realize their full potential and dreams.

✨ A BIG SHOUT-OUT to Our Amazing Summer Students! ✨

As summer comes to a close, we’re saying a big THANK YOU 💙 to the incredible summer students who spent the past two months as part of our Dragonfly Adventures and Charlton Children’s Summer Camp teams!

Throughout the summer, they brought energy, enthusiasm and positivity to CLH—helping create fun experiences, building meaningful relationships, learning new skills and making a difference for the children and adults we support. ☀️🌻

To Anjani, Rim, Faith, Simonne, Michela, Tyshaun, Allysia and Sara—thank you for everything you brought to CLH this summer. We wish you all the best in your studies, careers and whatever adventures come next! 🎓🌟

CP Huntington had a blast learning to play the spoons and dance with Samantha and Madeline from the Métis Nations! It was a wonderful opportunity to explore Métis culture, connect through music, and celebrate together. Thank you to Samantha and Madeline for sharing your talents and traditions with us!
