Our community has lost a lovely soul this week. Our hearts go out to our fellow organizational members with the Titanic Society of Atlantic Canada as well as anyone who had the privilege of knowing Henrietta.

Please see below for details on funeral and reception, as well as an excellent review of some of Dr. Mann’s accomplishments and contributions.

Hi everyone,

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and the Dalhousie Women in Medicine X Federation of Medical Women in Canada Association group is hosting a panel discussion on breast health:

WHEN: October 20th, 1:30-3pm
WHERE: Collaborative Health Education Building Room 150 (5793 University Ave, Halifax, NS B3H 4R2)
WHO: We have a panel of amazing speakers in different areas of breast health coming to talk. Dr. Iles and Dr. Barnes are breast radiology and pathology experts, respectively, who can give insight to the screening program in NS. We also have Dr. Melvin who is an expert medical oncologist for treatment for breast cancer! It should be a very informative session about screening and breast health including questions on mammograms, genetic testing, different breast cancers, and treatment for breast cancer.
