ISANS is proud to announce the launch of the Newcomer Scholarship, a new initiative designed to reduce barriers to education and support newcomers in Nova Scotia as they pursue their academic and professional goals.

We recognize that access to education is a critical step in successful settlement, workforce integration, and long-term community impact. This scholarship reflects our commitment to empowering newcomers with the tools and opportunities needed to thrive.

Congratulations to the latest graduates of the Foundations for Nursing Practice in Canada for Internationally Educated Nurses (IEN) Program!

Today, we celebrated participants who successfully completed the program and received their Certificates of Completion an important milestone on their journey toward becoming licensed nurses in Nova Scotia.

The path to licensure can be complex and demanding for internationally educated nurses. Through intensive support, guidance, and professional development, the ISANS IEN Program helps participants navigate this journey and move closer to achieving their career goals in Canada.
