National Indigenous History Month is a time to honour the histories, cultures, and enduring strength of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

At Anchor, we recognize that this month is also a time for reflection and continued learning. We are committed to listening to Indigenous voices, deepening our understanding, and continuing to learn how we can show up in ways that are grounded in respect, reciprocity, and care.

Reconciliation is ongoing work, and we remain committed to learning and taking action—this month and every day.

🌈 Happy Pride Month from Anchor.

This month, we celebrate the strength, diversity, and leadership of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and community members who make Anchor what it is.

At Anchor, we’re committed to creating spaces where youth feel safe, seen, respected, and supported to be their full selves. We know that inclusion takes more than visibility—it requires action, reflection, and an ongoing commitment to equity, affirmation, and belonging.

We’re grateful to the youth, caregivers, staff, and partners who continue to shape safer, more affirming spaces in our community.

We’re also excited to share that Anchor will soon be launching a dedicated drop-in group for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. As part of this, we’ll be hosting an input session to hear directly from youth about what they’d like this space to look and feel like. Stay tuned for the flyer and more details to come.

This Pride Month, and every month, we stand with and celebrate 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
