Dr. Penny Corkum had the opportunity to present at the International Pediatric Sleep Association 2026 Congress in Florence, Italy. She presented in two symposia: 1) Understanding Sleep in ADHD: Experimental, observational, and clinical perspectives, where she presented along with her colleagues from the US - Dr. Stephen Becker, Dr. Jessica Lunsford-Avery, and Dr. Alison Pritchard; and 2) Indigenous sleep across the globe: What do we know and what can we learn?, in which she presented along with Dr. Sarah Blunden from AUS, Dr. Osman Ipsiroglu from Canada, and Dr. Justine Camp from New Zealand. Both talks were well attended and resulted in interesting discussions!!

In addition to these two symposia, there was great presentations given by other members of the Better Nights, Better Days and Sleep Across the Lifespan team, including Dr. Elizabeth Keys (British Columbia), Dr. Megan Thomas (Nova Scotia), and Dr. Marie-Helene Pennestri (Quebec).
