We would like to let all of you know that we would like you to join our new Chapter FB GROUP: Halifax Camino Pilgrims. Moving away from a FB page to a FB group will allow for much more meaningful engagement. Halifax Camino Pilgrims remains a Chapter of the Canadian Company of Pilgrims and this will be reinforced in our ‘About Us’ section. This page will remain for a bit more time to allow members to transition to the new group, however it will be closed down in a number of weeks.

Margo & Sharon trained as 'hospitaleras voluntarias' with others from the our Halifax Chapter. For the the last 2 weeks of April they hosted pilgrims at the donativo albergue in Villadangos del Paramo, near Leon on the Camino Frances. Here's a translation of a guest review from an Italian pilgrim, "The albergue opens at 2 p.m., has been recently renovated, consisting of 4-bed dormitories each equipped with personal lockers, a power outlet and a small lamp for reading. The Canadian hospitaleras are fantastic, very kind and available to provide any clarification. One of the best albergues on the camino."
Congratulations to our volunteer Camino angels! If you're interested in how the Canadian Company of Pilgrims helps this happen, find out more here https://www.santiago.ca/hospitaleros/ 🥾

I just finished watching the new video ‘Wise Pilgrim Planner and Camino Apps’ on the Ivar (of Casa Ivar and Camino Forum) YouTube channel. Michael, the Wise Pilgrim creator, explains how to use the newly launched Wise Pilgrim planner. This planner can be found as a tab on the Camino Forum. It looks fantastic and has many routes available as well as saving, printing and sharing functions. Have a watch and then play/plan away!!
