Check out photos from our most recent build from last Saturday for Stella and Donald in Hammonds Plains! Was a scorcher day and the bugs were out in full force, but our volunteer team stuck it out and got the job done.

This wouldn't have been possible without cash donations from the community to pay for the materials and the sweat equity of our volunteers.

Unfortunately, there continue to be no shortage of households in need of help to make their homes accessible for loved ones. Insurance, government healthcare, and social assistance programs often leave a critical gap in funding modifications to homes in order to provide suitable accessibility. A diagnoses of MS, ALS or other critical health issues can come at a high cost both financially and emotionally for families. Our mission is to provide a last resort for those families seeking assistance with home accessibility but which are unable to attain it in a suitable timeframe by any other means.

We already have our next project lined up for a family in the Dartmouth area and are already raising money. If you are interested in making a donation, or know of someone who may be, please contact us.

The Ramp Project completed our newest project yesterday!

Thanks to all the volunteers that showed upfor another successful build - it wouldn't be possible without your help and the free labour hours we rely on to get these projects completed!

The cost of materials was funded through individual donations received over the past few months. An extra special thanks to the Starritt family who funded the majority of the ramp material costs!

The Ramp Project is pleased to announce that we have a new project scheduled. The build will be taking place this Saturday Oct 10th. We will keep you all updated with photos and reports of the progress.

It is with great sadness and profound sorrow that I am announcing my departure from THE RAMP PROJECT team. I am stepping down in order to ensure that THE RAMP PROJECT has the best team available for the job.

When Kris and I started this organization, we were passionate about people and wanted to help provide the best quality of life for people living with ALS. I am sure that the remaining team will continue to embody these core values.

Meeting and working with the families of the recipients of THE RAMP PROJECT products has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I have learned so much from this experience and cherish every moment I have spent thinking about, and working for THE RAMP PROJECT. I will be forever grateful for this opportunity.

The Ramp project is a not for profit dedicated to assisting individuals diagnosed with ALS or MS and their families. The ramp project helps to keep families together and works to improve the quality of life for those diagnosed by providing wheelchair ramp

The Ramp Project is pleased to announce they will be starting another build for deserving family next Sunday. Anyone who is interested in volunteering for the build or donating to help cover the construction costs is welcome and encouraged to do so.
