This day was chosen for the destruction of us, the Jews by Haman who cast lots, known as Pur. God intervened, turning our sorrow into joy and their fear into victory. This is why we celebrate Purim, a day of divine deliverance. Read about it in Esther 9:24 and honour this holy day with joy!
