A room full of light. A stage full of truth. A night Halifax will remember.

Alfaaz 2026 brought together poetry, shayari, stories, music, and people carrying entire worlds inside them.

Every artist gave the room something honest. Every person in the audience listened with care. For a few hours, different languages, memories, countries, and lives belonged under the same roof.

I began Alfaaz because I wanted to create the kind of room I once needed myself. Looking through these photographs, I know we created it.

To the performers, audience, volunteers, venue team, friends, and everyone who stood behind this evening—thank you.

Alfaaz 2026
August 1 • Bus Stop Theatre • Halifax

I turn rooms into memories. This was one of them.
