Moreover, we can find inspiration and motivation in each other’s talents. The idea of a better tomorrow is why we plan. But it is not enough to know where we are going. . It celebrates innovation and reveals new possibilities. It lifts us above the routine and does not allow for mediocrity. In this sense, planning and design are far from being merely the back-room activities of experts. They are an integral part of everyday life - a visible proposition, a collective engagement, an ongoing dialogue. The Planning & Design Centre is a collaborative, non-profit operation committed to making planning and design more accessible, inclusive, and ongoing. Working out of a street-front space, the Centre increases awareness about current projects and studies, provides forums for the exchange of ideas, both locally and globally, and advances propositions which celebrate who we are and define our collective aspirations.
