I’m delight to congratulate Michelle, Director of Shelter Movers Maritimes on being named 2026 Phenomenal Woman of the Year by Business and Professional Women of GM!!!

💜 What an incredible day for Riders United: Breaking the Silence.

Today, we were honoured to receive a cheque for $5,825 from Steele Halifax Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT!!!

This brings our grand total raised to an incredible $9,308.50 for Shelter Movers and 100% of the proceeds go to Shelter Movers!

A heartfelt thank you to Annette Armstrong and the entire team at Steele Halifax Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT for believing in our mission and turning compassion into action. Your generosity will make a real difference for individuals and families fleeing abuse.

Joining us today were Russell Poole, Mike ODonnell of 74th Crusaders Motorcycle Club and Joann Moores-Blackwood Dean Blackwood and Daniel Ward representing the NS Free Riders. Thank you all for standing with us and continuing to support this important cause.

Missing from the photo is the incredible team at Shelter Movers. While we were celebrating today's donation, they were doing the work these funds make possible. Last night, they helped move a mom and her family out of a violent situation. Today, they helped another mom and her family safely into their new home.

With today's donation, our grand total of $9,308.50 will help approximately 37 moms and their children move from unsafe situations to safety. That's the true impact of this event—not just dollars raised, but lives changed.

To every rider, volunteer, sponsor, donor, and supporter—thank you. Together, we're proving that the motorcycle community is about so much more than motorcycles. We ride with purpose, we stand together, and we're helping families find safety, hope, and a new beginning.
