Our members are usually school based, and support students in over 135 sites across HRM - from Hubbards to Sheet Harbour

📢 Things are different this time! We are NOT in the same situation we were in 2023 📢

We have a SOLIDARITY PACT with 7 other locals. That means if we strike, school support staff across Nova Scotia will be shutting down together.

For Cape Breton, the impact will be massive. With over 40 classifications, including bus drivers, custodians, plumbers and more, they'll create an even greater impact!!

By standing together, we are sending a clear message. We are stronger when we stand united. If we do have to strike, the scale of this collective action will have a significant impact across the province.

We are stronger together! ✊

If we strike, all 6,651 members will be walking the line across Nova Scotia.

Now THAT is going to make a statement!
