👉 Good Robot B**r Garden (2223 North Park St.) will be keeping the energy up with a disco theme all night! Stop in for a pre-party or for a refreshment break, and they’ll make sure the disco vibes are there!

👉 Compass Distillers (2533 Agricola St.) will be serving up a special disco cocktail, The High Roller, and offering happy hour for anyone in their disco outfits!

👉 Look for the Dee Dee’s Ice Cream Bike at the Roller Disco, serving up some totally groovy chocolate dipped ice cream bars. Limited supply, so get yours early

Looking for something to do this Friday? The final Live on Agricola concert series of the summer is this Friday! 👏🎶

The final show of the season is this Friday, September 25th from 7-9PM at 2537 Agricola Street (Carlo Auto Parking Lot), plus a special dance party from 9-12pm with Push N Play and DJ Tranzishen!

Upcoming performances: Mary Beth Carty, Aaron Collier, Push N Play and DJ Tranzishen 🎶

Accordionist, guitarist, and player of pocket-sized instruments, Mary Beth Carty of Antigonish possesses a magical voice that earned her the 2024 Canadian Folk Music Award for Traditional Singer of the Year. She blends her ancestral Gaelic heritage with multicultural influences and takes us on a journey of emotions with a mix of traditional and original songs. Of her live show, CBC’s Bill Roach says, “She got the crowd singing along. It was something else!” Mary Beth is excited to be part of the North End Business Association’s Live On Agricola Free Music series!

Aaron Collier has been playing keyboards and making weird theatrical productions for a quarter century in Halifax and beyond. Originally hailing from Prince Edward Island, he made his way to Halifax in 2000 to join the Jimmy Swift Band, an outfit he would spend the next decade touring Canada and the world with, releasing three albums and a live concert film along the way. He’s released two solo recordings; Love - an album of bedroom electronica, and Neo - a live improvised looping acoustic piano album made at The Living Arts Centre in Ontario. After an extended hiatus from solo music performance, during which he co-created numerous theatrical works such as The Princess Show and Frequencies and co-founded the live art company HEIST, he’s once again delving into multi-instrumental keyboard music, experimenting and improvising with forms and sounds ranging from meditative ambient sound scapes, to intimate solo piano compositions, to richly layered synthetic polyrhythmic cliffs of vibrational ecstasy.

We’re excited to partner with to bring you an incredible lineup of live music every Friday evening, all summer long!
