Bat box distribution has officially begun! 🦇

Families across Nova Scotia will be receiving a bat box (or two!) along with our updated bat monitoring guide and additional materials including youth bat themed activities and information on placement tips, care, and best practices.

We’re excited to support more safe habitat spaces for bats and help families connect with local wildlife through this hands-on conservation project.

A huge thank you to the Nova Scotia Habitat Conservation Fund for funding and supporting this initiative!

And another huge thank you to Mersey Tobeatic Research Institute for providing support and guidance and helping YNC update its guide!
