At the Makers' Social Night last night, Jeremy appealed to the brain trust for ideas on weatherproofimg a DIY citizen science sky camera, meant for recording aurorae in high latitude, remote locations. We also got to see the results of some of his volunteer work at Shearwater Aviation Museum - a fixed touch display information panel that had been broken forever.

And Baz shared the parts that some of our members expressed an interest in - to make a Cessna flight simulator.

And a good time was had by all... Tonight's show and tell featured projects from a number of speakers, including some new faces. Projects featured included 3d printed camera, V battery adapter for camera and heated jacket, family Feud buzzer system, cottage internet/power watcher, Christmas wreath LED hat, Spock Helmet, Star Trek parametric starship maker, motorized model radar dish, secret Christmas present we can't share until the new year.
