The IWK Foundation is hiring a Relationship Manager, Community and Corporate Giving. Reporting to the Associate Director, Development, the Relationship Manager (RM), works with individuals, corporate partners and third-party events throughout NS to move the Foundation toward its overall financial goals.

The RM is a key member of the Philanthropy team with a vision of inspiring exceptional philanthropy. We are looking for someone who will use their relationship and communication skills with a keen sense of initiative to spot fundraising opportunities, develop relationships with potential donors, and manage a cross functional portfolio of donors and partners.

A huge thank you to Delta Hotels by Marriott Prince Edward for everything they do to support the IWK through Children's Miracle Network Canada!

From their Miracle Menu and Miracle Suite initiatives to hosting Root Beer Float Day to their new tiptap machine to collect donations easily and effectively, their commitment to helping Maritime children and families is truly incredible.

But beyond their fundraising efforts, they're also deeply committed to accessibility and the impact that can have on families when they travel.

Thanks to a transformational gift from the late Arthur L. Irving, the Arthur L. Irving Family Foundation, Sandra and Sarah Irving, and Irving Oil, the IWK’s redeveloped Emergency Department will have a new CT suite, CT scanner, and dedicated X-Ray room.

Learn how this exciting development will make a difference for Maritime children and families in the post below!

“Having the equipment right there will improve access to imaging by reducing the need for patients to travel through the hospital to the Diagnostic Imaging Department. It also enables more timely exams while helping to ease patient stress.”

The new IWK Children’s Emergency Department (ED) is bringing advanced diagnostic imaging closer to where it matters most—the point of care.

The ED, scheduled to open in 2027, will house a medical imaging section within the department featuring a computerized tomography (CT) suite and scanner as well as a dedicated general x-ray (XR) room.

A heartfelt thank you to the NSLC for 40 wonderful years of partnership and generosity in support of the IWK! 💙

This year alone, NSLC stores, employees, suppliers and customers helped raise an incredible $780,000 to purchase new equipment and support care at the IWK.

We were honoured to celebrate their accomplishments at a recent celebratory event and recognize the impact of this longstanding commitment.

We think Canon, the IWK patient ambassador for the NSLC said it best: "Being in rooms like this has changed how I see the world. I've seen what happens when people with resources, reach and influence choose to use them for good. I've watched companies rally around something bigger than their bottom line because they understand that community means you don't wait until it's your turn to benefit."

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist to join our team.

As the Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate, timely payroll and accounts payable services while helping maintain strong financial controls across the organization. This is a hands-on role that touches everything from full-cycle AP processing and bi-weekly payroll to pension and benefits administration. You'll work closely with Human Resources, support employee onboarding and terminations, and serve as a key point of contact for internal teams and external vendors.
