A great evening at Sears-Halifax Toastmasters! 🎉
We were thrilled to welcome two new members to our ever-growing, diverse, and supportive community — fresh faces, fresh energy, and plenty of applause! 🙌✨

We kicked things off with Table Topics that went straight into the future 🤖 — exploring AI and how it might impact our lives. From thoughtful insights to creative (and mildly alarming 😄) possibilities, members shared some fantastic perspectives.

Next up was a powerful prepared speech by Ameya, reflecting on 2025 and the bold challenges he embraced — from running a half marathon 🏃‍♂️ to chopping wood for the first time 🪵. Proof that growth shows up in many forms!

To wrap things up, our club president Karina shook us out of our comfort zones with an impromptu talk — and then put words into action by encouraging members to step into new roles. Comfort zones stretched, confidence grew, and leadership was in full display 🚀

New members, future-focused ideas, bold stories, and lots of learning — another energizing Thursday well spent at Toastmasters! 🎤✨

🎤 A Thought-Provoking Evening at Sears-Halifax Toastmasters! 🎤
We had a fantastic session at Sears-Halifax Toastmasters Club, hosted at J. A. Snow’s Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS) — a welcoming space with a calm and serene atmosphere that’s perfect for reflection and growth.

It was wonderful to welcome three new guests and share an evening full of insight and encouragement.

The meeting featured two outstanding speeches—
✨ “Not Everything Can Wait”
✨ “There’s Something Wrong”
Both were thought-provoking and warmly received by members and guests alike.

Our Table Topics session, themed around time and life’s possibilities, sparked engaging, imaginative responses as speakers explored reflections on the past and visions of the future.
