We’re excited to welcome a new member to the Nova Village NS team!
Please join us in welcoming Shannon Scott-Tibbetts (she/her) as our new Program and Operations Lead, stepping into this role while Latika is on parental leave.

Shannon brings over 10 years of experience as a Director of Operations, along with a strong background as a research assistant. She holds a degree from Dalhousie University and has completed extensive management training, making her a fantastic addition to our team.

We’re thrilled to have Shannon’s leadership and expertise supporting our programs and community. Welcome, Shannon!

We are excited to invite you to our Annual General Meeting, where we will reflect on our impact, celebrate 40 years of community, and look ahead to the future together.

Join us Friday, June 12 at Nova Village NS for a special New Parents Group session at 10 AM.

We are excited to welcome physiotherapist Alyssa Walsh from Halifax Kids Physio for an informative and interactive session on infant motor development at Nova Village NS. Learn about key motor milestones, get practical tummy time tips and learn about supporting your baby’s head shape.

Alyssa will also be available for a Q and A and share simple exercises to support your baby’s development.
