Youth Art Connection works with diverse, talented artists 30 and under, meeting them where they’re at and helping them grow arts-based businesses, social impact projects. Our programs include the HUBHFX drop-in for artists in North End Halifax, TD ARTpreneurs online toolkit and training (www.artpreneurs.ca), the Justice, Art & Youth in Action (JAYA) Initiative with the Michaëlle Jean Foundation and AGNS, the EMERGE (www.facebook.com/emergehfx) youth all ages festival and conference.

Treasurer: bring CFO-style strategic financial thinking to a growing charity. Not a bookkeeping role.

Director-at-Large: expertise in law, business, governance, fundraising, marketing, HR, government, or community development welcome.

Director – Community & Youth Engagement (new): for YAC alumni and emerging community leaders who've lived the artist experience firsthand.

We are excited to be kicking off the EMERGE Summer Concert Series this July to September, which will see 8 concert showcases across select Wednesdays 7-9pm, featuring emerging artists at the Salt Yard Stage on the beautiful Halifax Waterfront.

The EMERGE Summer Concert Series is your best way to discover Halifax's newest talent and enjoy outdoor music this summer! Watch for artist announcements in the coming weeks.
