The Hawks hosted our 1st U7 & U9 free summer goalie session this week! A few 1st timers & some who had already tried being goalies this past season. Either way this session was a great opportunity to help our U7s & U9s while they decide which path their hockey journey will take.
Huge shoutout to our current goalies for their assistance as well as volunteer shooters and coaches!
Coach Liam ran this session and he is excited for the next session on July 8.

🏅 CLARY MACDONALD AWARD 🏅

We are pleased to announce that Greg MacDonald, head coach of the Halifax Hawks U13 AAA team, is the recipient of the 2026 Clary MacDonald Memorial Award. This award, named in honour of the late Clary MacDonald, a dedicated hockey volunteer, recognizes our coach of the year.

This season, MacDonald led the Hawks to a memorable finish, capturing the Minor U13 Atlantic Championship on home ice in Halifax in April.

Beyond the success on the ice, those who know him say MacDonald exemplifies everything this award represents: a long-term commitment to player development, a dedication to team spirit, and the values of fairness, sportsmanship, and respect for opponents, officials, and parents alike.
