Our unflagging and dynamic volunteers, Aurora Ulloa-Parsons and Susan Picton, oversaw the MtS Halifax exhibit during the June 6th One Port City Day at the Halifax Seaport. The event, sponsored by the Port of Halifax, provided an opportunity to showcase the services we offer in support of hardworking seafarers, especially those who visit the ports of Halifax.

We welcome our seafaring friends to visit us at the Port of Halifax. We are here for all seasons. However, this is a special time of the year in our side yard sanctuary, when the blooms are just beginning and will continue to flourish throughout summer.
Aurora worked her usual magic in the gardens and Joseph mowed the lawn.
We are truly blessed.

We are here to serve.

Seafarers are some of the most invisible and isolated heroes.

The work of The Mission to Seafarers reaches right into that isolation. Through ship visits, centres of welcome and simple acts of kindness, we offer recognition, reassurance and practical support, creating Harbours of Hope for those who serve us at sea.

This Sea Sunday, join churches around the world in reminding seafarers that they are seen and valued. Order your free Sea Sunday pack at the link below.
