Ensuring your business is accessible and welcoming to people with disabilities isn't just the right thing to do, it also makes good financial sense. Word travels fast when a business gets a reputation for being particularly welcoming to customers with disabilities, and word of the opposite travels even faster.

If you need help with training, physical environment assessments, or if you need some advice on accommodations and hiring, reachAbility is here to help. Reach out to us at [email protected] or call us at 902-429-5878 to learn more.

Steps to Wellness appointments are one-on-one sessions with our wellness coordinator that are available to clients enrolled in any of reachAbility’s programs. In these meetings, clients examine the factors that are negatively impacting their mental and physical wellbeing, and practice strategies and techniques for regulating emotions and coping with challenges.

As with all of reachAbility's client services and programming, there is no cost for participating in Steps to Wellness sessions.

78% of workers with cognitive disabilities report encountering accessibility barriers at work, ranging from communication hurdles to a lack of manager support.

The benefits of including these workers are immense, from bringing fresh thinking and problem solving skills to the team to reducing employee turnover. The workplace accommodations needed to do this right are often simple, free, and of benefit the entire workforce.

If you need help ensuring your workplace is properly welcoming and accommodating to everyone, reachAbility is here to help. Reach out to us at [email protected], or call us at 902-429-5878.
