The Bahamas is taking flight in Halifax! ✈️🇧🇸🇨🇦

Members of the BANS board had the honour of attending an exclusive evening of Bahamian insights and networking hosted by the Ministry of Tourism. With the new direct flights from Halifax to The Bahamas, many Bahamians here in Nova Scotia are excited—and we’re encouraging Canadians to experience our islands too!

Special thanks Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper and the entire Tourism Bahamas team for bringing this vision to The Bahamas is taking flight in Halifax! ✈️🇧🇸

🌟 The Takeover 2.0 is back this Homecoming! 🌟�

I’m Treyvon Nicolls, a proud Bahamian and Acadia Students’ Union VP Student Life, and I’m inviting alumni from Bermuda, The Bahamas, and Barbados to join us October 17–19, 2025 for an unforgettable celebration. 🎉

For generations, students from Bermuda, The Bahamas, and Barbados have brought their culture, energy, and spirit to Acadia. The Takeover 2.0 is our chance to celebrate that legacy together during Homecoming weekend.
