June is National Indigenous History Month here in Canada.
Advancing Re(al)conciliation is a course through First Nations University of Canada currently being offered to participants for free by RBC.
The course offers individual learners and organizations the opportunity to commit to the TRC's Calls to Action #62 and #92. These Calls to Action call on government, corporate, and business sectors in Canada to activate and realize reconciliation efforts within their sectors, companies, and businesses in collaboration with Indigenous Peoples. This is a great opportunity for members and the community to learn and grow as treaty people.

Thought we would share along! We are all treaty people 🧡
June 4, 2026, marks the 300th anniversary of the signing of the Peace and Friendship Treaty of 1726. Ratified between Mi’kmaw, Wəlastəkokewiyik, and Peskətəmohkatewey leadership and the British Crown at Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, this living agreement established relationships based on mutual respect, cooperation, and shared use of the land. As we remember this milestone, we honour the enduring spirit of the Peace and Friendship Treaties and the ongoing responsibilities they represent today.
