🎓 NSFL Bursary Program 🎓

IBEW Local 1928 members are encouraged to take advantage of the NSFL Bursary Program. This year, six bursaries valued at $1,500 each are available to eligible applicants.

The great thing about this event is that you can participate remotely from anywhere! Whether you're walking in your community, on a trail, around your neighbourhood, or with family and friends, every step helps show our commitment to mental health awareness and support.

We encourage all Brothers and Sisters of Local 1928 to get involved and be part of this important event this weekend.

⚡️NSPI Negotiations Update⚡️

The Negotiating Committee met with the Employer through the Conciliator on June 1st, 2026. Talks are ongoing, with no further news at this point. We will continue to send out updates as the information becomes available. The updates will be available through the Union reach app, our IBEW Local 1928 page and our website. Please stay tuned.

⚡ NSPI Negotiations Update ⚡

IBEW Local 1928 would like to update the membership that conciliations with NSPI are scheduled for early next week.

We remain committed to advocating for a fair agreement on behalf of our members and will provide further updates as information becomes available.

IBEW Local 1928 would like to extend our gratitude to all the hardworking lineworkers who keep the lights on, often in the toughest conditions and when communities need it most. Your skill, dedication, and commitment to safety do not go unnoticed.

IBEW Local 1928 are your Champions after a hard fought battle with Local 625 in the tournament final Sunday!🏒⚡️

We would like to thank all the players and members who came out this weekend, there was a some really great hockey played, it was sure one to remember.

Special shoutout to Brother, Mark Allison, for organizing the tournament this year and doing a great job again.

We also want to thank Weburn for locally making our tournament hats this year, we couldn’t of been happier how they came out. Check them out and support local!

We look forward to defending our trophy next year💪
