To the Hepatitis Outreach Society of Nova Scotia (HepNS) Community,
It is with a heavy heart that we, the Board of Directors, share that HepNS will be closing at the end of June 2025. HepNS has been serving the people of Nova Scotia for 27 years. During this time, our incredible staff and volunteers have demonstrated immense passion for serving the diverse needs of people impacted by hepatitis.
Like many nonprofits, HepNS has struggled to secure sustainable funding over the last number of years. Despite our best efforts, we have come to the decision that maintaining HepNS is no longer feasible.
We would like to thank our amazing staff, peers, clients, community, and funders for their support over the years.
