We need your help! Little Veggie Sale is a finalist to receive funding from Virginia Hinch for District 8 - Halifax Peninsula North Participatory Budgeting Night, where the North End community can come out and vote for the projects they'd like to receive funding.

This funding is vital to help us continue to sell produce for just $1/lbs and to hold our free produce giveaway events. Everyone is welcome to come out and vote, because if we win, everyone wins!

What a day!! We had the best time at our October Sale this morning. We had more than 2200 lbs of produce for just $1/lbs with all the fixins' for Thanksgiving dinner 🍂 🍅🍠

Thanks to the generosity of our incredible neighbours, our Community Table was overflowing this month with basil, kale, Chinese lanterns and even Halloween candy all available for free.

We also held our very first bottle drive this month! Thank you to everyone who brought their recyclables to help support our sale. We are so grateful for the kindness, generosity and continued support of our little veggie sales in so many ways.

As we even had more than enough produce this month and didn't sell out, we were able to donate the extra produce to our local community fridges to make sure even more families had access to fresh fruits and vegetables.

Happy Thanksgiving to all 💚
