has officially established its headquarters in Edmonton, Alberta, as of September 1, 2024. After previously being based in Kitchener, Ontario, and Timberlea, Nova Scotia, we’ve now expanded to Western Canada, bringing value and joining forces with the farms and rural communities of the Prairies!

🚜 We’re enhancing our services by incorporating automation and digital agriculture into our portfolio. Our founder and Innovation Project Manager, .xavier, is becoming a specialist in this field through the program, funded by the Government of Canada.

🇨🇦 After two cross-Canada journeys between 2022 and 2024, we have countless stories to share, exciting business ventures to introduce, and valuable knowledge to pass on.

🧭 Now based in Edmonton, Alberta, we are beginning a new chapter. Regenerative agriculture and tourism remain at the core of our strategy, driving economic growth, productivity, and well-being in rural and remote communities while contributing to the regeneration of our planet.

🍁 Our founder and CEO, .xavier, has taken on new commitments in sustainability and climate action. He is currently becoming a specialist in Automation and Digital Agriculture through an academic program funded by the Government of Canada.

🏆 EXA Group Canada () continues to invest in the growth of the Strong Farm & Rural Shores initiative (), as well as in SFRS Beyond the Stars – Arctic Prototype. Our commitment to humanity will soon reach new goals, exploring the universe through a fresh perspective.

Edmar Luiz Xavier Neto is the visionary founder and CEO of EXA Group Canada, the mind behind the creation and global development of the Strong Farm & Rural Shores Destinations program. Edmar Xavier was born and raised in rural communities in Brazil and moved to Canada, living experiences, and creating opportunities for rural, indigenous, and remote communities in Canadian territory.

Edmar Xavier knows the responsibility that people, corporations, and governments have with sustainable development and is convinced that Tourism is undoubtedly the most powerful tool for sustainability to be a reality in our lives, regenerating the planet and acting with solutions to mitigate climate change. Recently, Edmar Xavier travelled across Canada to research the challenges, gaps, and needs of the country's rural, indigenous, and remote communities. This research was conducted for the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) READI program, funded by the Government of Canada.

Edmar Xavier will present the Strong Farms and Rural Coasts: The Importance of Tourism for Rural Development lecture on September 28, 2023, at 10:00.

Thiago Riccioppo is a historian and one of the greatest references in research in the history and education of rural communities, acting as Executive Manager of the Zebu Museum of ABCZ - Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders, the largest Zebu cattle association in the world! Thiago is also one of those responsible for the Geopark Terra de Gigantes project, known as Uberaba Geopark. A prominent project evaluated by the UNESCO team in 2023. This project has been creating new paths for tourism and the rural economy of Uberaba.

Thiago Riccioppo will present the History, Culture and Tourism: Rural Economic Development lecture on September 28th, 2023, at 11:00.
