Who manages your TPP? Teachers’ Pension Plan Trustee Inc. oversees the administration of pension benefits and investment assets for the TPP. The Board is made up of 9 directors: 4 appointed by the NSTU, 4 by Nova Scotia’s Minister of Finance and Treasury Board, and an independent Chair mutually appointed by both. Part-Time Teachers: Did you know the TPP offers a Flexible Pension Option? This option allows part-time members to contribute based on their previous year’s work percentage and accrue the same amount of pensionable service. If you are interested, complete the Flexible Pension Option form at https://www.nstpp.ca/members/forms and submit it to your employer for approval.
