Crowbar Lake Trails Civic address: 1800 Myra Rd Porters Lk The Crowbar Lake Trails are a system of trails encompassing 15-kilometre wilderness, single-track trails.

The Crowbar Lake Wilderness Association (CLWA) is newly formed and mandated to maintain and manage the Crowbar Lake Trails - 15k of wilderness, single-track trails located in the Waverly-Salmon River Wilderness area. They are located between the communities of Porters Lake and Lake Echo and are within the Waverly-Salmon River-Long Lake Wilderness Area. The trailhead is located at civic address 180

0 Myra Road, Porters Lake, NS. It should be noted that cell coverage is limited to none on the trails. The trails are now under the stewardship of the Crowbar Lake Wilderness Association (CLWA), which was formed in Spring 2021 and is a non-profit organization mandated by the Province of Nova Scotia, Environment Department, to maintain the trails. The Crowbar Lake Trails were built in 2005 and maintained for fourteen years by the Porters Lake Myra Road Wilderness Association. The 15-kilometer Crowbar Lake trail system includes four main trails - Porters Lake Loop (1.8km), Spriggs Brook Trail (3.6km), West Lake Loop (4.4km), and Salmon River Loop (5.3km), Lookoff Trail (1.1km). Please note distances listed are approximate. The Crowbar Lake Hiking Trails provide day-use for hikers, runners and snowshoers and access to an incredibly beautiful, rugged wilderness of granite ridges, lakes and rivers, old growth forests and unique jack pine barrens. The parking lot has been freshly refinished with a brand-new layer of gravel โ€” no more potholes! ๐Ÿ™Œ Plus, drainage has been added to keep things looking (and working) great. Enjoy!

We could use a little help to finish up a couple things:
