What a great game Saturday night! 🏒🔥 Overtime and then a shootout! So much excitement!
A big thank you to Events East Group and Scotiabank Centre for our amazing partnership and for helping us bring these experiences to our community. For some, it was their very first hockey game! ❤️

🧠 FUN FACT!

Did you know there are 3 levels of government — federal, provincial and municipal , and they’re each responsible for different things in our communities?

Recreation is normally a municipal responsibility. But Greystone Outdoor Court sits on provincial land, so HRM doesn’t service it like courts located on municipal property.

💭 The dream? That recreation becomes part of the budget in Greystone.

Courts. Programs. Safe places to play. Opportunities for youth.
Because investing in a healthy, active community today can make a HUGE difference tomorrow. ❤️
