Every One Every Day Halifax

Every One Every Day Halifax Every One Every Day is working to bring North End neighbours together to design and start projects that benefit them and the community.

If you live in the North End and think you might like to do fun and practical things with your neighbours, join in! Every One Every Day Kjipuktuk is a Reconciliation initiative of the Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre that brings together residents from different parts of the North End to create and learn from one another. Projects range from batch cooking and community meals, sharing cultural know

ledge and traditions, building useful and fun items for the neighbourhood, as well as a variety of making, crafting, sewing, repairing, fixing and much more. All together, these projects create opportunities for Indigenous and non-Indigenous neighbours to connect, form relationships built from mutual respect and understanding, and celebrate together by collectively contributing to creative and practical projects that draw on the many gifts and talents of people living nearby. Everyone is welcome to join, no registration required! All sessions at Every One Every Day are free with all materials provided.

What is Every One Every Day? 💛

We are a project of the Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre, working to promote truth and reconciliation at the neighborhood level right here in the North End of Kjipuktuk.

Our Neighbourhood Shop is a place to bring people together, share unique skills, and dream up what’s possible. You can drop in during our open shop hours to work on your own creative projects or just hang out and connect. Or, you can take part in a hosted session to learn directly from a neighbor with specific skills!

Interested in hosting a session yourself? We’d love to chat! Reach out to us to learn more about becoming a host!

Our space is filled with everything you need to learn, make, and connect. We’ve got fabrics, sewing machines, art supplies, woodworking tools, books, a printing press with all the materials, a 3D printer, and always a hot coffee pot waiting for you. Our space is open to all, and everything is completely free.

Check our Stories or visit us online to see our most up-to-date hours of operation before you head over.

We can’t wait to see you!
