Seva in Action — Highway Cleanup Drive by HSS Canada Swayamsevaks 🧡

Namaste ji! 🙏

Our Swayamsevaks came together with one simple belief — the land that gives us so much deserves our care in return. This weekend, the team cleaned up a 7.5 km stretch of Dubrack Street, picking up litter, restoring the roadside, and leaving it cleaner for every commuter and traveler who passes through.
This is Seva — service without expectation, done shoulder to shoulder as a community. Every bag of trash picked up is a small step toward a cleaner, greener Canada 🇨🇦🌿

But we’re just getting started! Our next cleanup drive is coming up soon, and we’d love for YOU to be part of it. Whether you can spare an hour or the whole morning, every hand makes a difference.

📍 Stay tuned for the next date and location
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Bring your family, friends, and neighbors
🧤 Gloves and bags provided — just bring your spirit of Seva!

Let’s keep building a community that gives back. Jai Hind!

Seva in Action 🪔

HSS Halifax karyakartas joined ISKCON Halifax this Janmashtami, offering seva through setup, coordination, and hospitality so devotees could focus on celebrating Lord Krishna’s birth. A beautiful reminder that seva unites our community, one shakha and one mandir at a time.

Jai Shri Krishna!

At HSS Spryfield Shakha, Makarsankranti was more than a festival — it was a lesson in samskar 🌞
Children learned the joy of tradition through kite making, sweet sharing, and celebrating together with elders 🪁

Passing on culture, one festival at a time 🙏
