Wondering how your PSSP contributions work? Your PSSP contributions are deducted from your pay each payday by your employer. Your employer also pays an amount equal to your contributions to the Plan. Ready to retire? Don’t forget you need to apply for your pension! To apply for your pension, you must submit your notice of retirement to your Human Resources Representative and you must contact us to request a retirement package 3-4 months prior to your planned retirement date. choose from. The pension option you choose is important as it will determine the amount

If you had periods without contributions to the PSSP, such as during approved leaves, you may have the option to purchase prior service with a current or previous PSSP employer.
