The Unity Garden Program is BACK, and we’re SO excited to help our community grow together again this year!

Starting May 20, we’ll be giving away FREE seed kits (while supplies last). Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just planting your first seed, we’ve got you covered!

Each kit includes:
🥕 Carrots
🫜 Beets
🥬 Lettuce
🥔 Potatoes
🫛 Snap or pod peas!

📍 Pick up your kit at 180 Alaska Highway during regular business hours. If we aren't there, call 867-332-9962

We received two pallets of potatoes from the Food Bank Society of the Yukon

They look wonderful for eating but are almost ready to be planted too. Come and grab a bag or two or three!

Update: the delivery truck is one hour late leaving Whitehorse so sorting will begin at 11am. We are still looking for one more person to help with deliveries. Thanks!

Hello! Do you have some free time on Wednesday, May 13 and available to help us with Food Hamper distribution in Haines Junction? We're looking for volunteers who can help us sort pre-pared food hampers from 10am to noon and folks who can volunteer with a truck to help with hamper deliveries from 11am to 1pm. Thank you in advance!

🧀 The Cheddar Is Back 🧀

Good news—the cheddar has been restocked.

If you missed out on Friday, Monday, January 26 is your day.

Cheddar will be available starting at 11:30 a.m. and will be offered until it’s gone.

Located at the ARRC/SSC office at 180 Alaska Highway at Kluane Street. Use the Kluane Street door.

Drop by the SSC/ARRC building at 180 Alaska Highway to pick up a block. Available Friday, January 23 from 10am to 3pm.
