Our community hall serves many purposes for the people in the area, birthday parties, weddings, family gatherings and community meetings. This past week it helped out a bicyclist travelling through the area. Wednesday afternoon’s rain was not a pleasant time to be a bicyclist on the 347. He sought shelter and ended up receiving treats to help him out, assistance with an issue with his bicycle and in the end a drive to Pictou County Cycle & Repair Service for professional assistance . These repairs were promptly done and he continued on his way .
