Guysborough Options Our Services Include

Assessment and Case Planning: We identify each applicant's needs and match them with the suited training program.

Prevocational Life Skills Development: Each Client has the opportunity to develop his/her social and life skills. Workplace Education: Clients are given learning opportunities in literacy, adult basic education and academic upgrading in the workplace. School to Work Transition: A partnership between GOALS and the High school special education program facilitates a smooth school to work transition.

Community Employment: Clients may participate in job placements within the community with follow-up support. Vocational Training:
The vocational training department consists of 4 programs, Used clothing outlet, catering, woodworking and general contracts. Through these programs our clients develop skills of organization and public relations as well as using a variety of tools and equipment related to each program.

There will be no meal this friday May 22nd. We will be participating in special Olympics in antigonish tomorrow. Our next meal will be May 29th and it will be hamburger steak and onions.
