Our students had an incredible afternoon talking about robots with Guelph's own MP, Dominique O'Rourke

The energy at the Connect Digital Hub was electric as RCCR's FIRST robotics teams from across the city came together for a special meet-and-greet. From driving robots to sharing their big ideas for the future, our students loved meeting Dominique.

We are dreaming big for the 2026-2027 season. Our goal? To grow to 8 competitive FIRST robotics teams in Guelph. 🤩

We are currently looking for a home for our 6th FIRST LEGO League team. Does your elementary school or community organization want to lead the way in youth STEM? 🏫

Support the FIRST Robotics Competition team 11227 Goose Goose Duck by playing in the First Annual Co-op Employer UGDSB Appreciation Golf Tournament.

JUNE 15, 4:30pm-dusk, at the Victoria Park Valley Golf Course in Guelph. Register by June 1st!

All proceeds support UGDSB programming and their FIRST Robotics teams.

Thank you SHSM and Tech Education Lead Charles Benyair for visiting and cheering on UGDSB FRC team 11227 Goose Goose Duck at the University of Waterloo FRC Dirstrict Event. Our students were excited and honored show their robot "Golden Goose" in action, and present all their hard work.

As a rookie team, Goose Goose Duck represents the incredible growth and demand for FIRST teams in Guelph. Our community of students, alumni, mentors, volunteers, and parents thank you for all the work you do to help the team grow. This year we are celebrating 5 FIRST teams in Guelph, and our goal is to grow to 8 by the end of 2026. Lets continue to inspire youth to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.
