Toronto Solidarity Event ~ this Friday Oct 16th ~ Panel Discussion and Community Social!

Bringing together four Indigenous-led movements connected by their resistance of the ongoing colonial project here and abroad, this event features Indigenous and allied voices who will share about their struggles, explore the changing frontlines of social and environmental activism, and invite each other into deeper conversation about the work ahead.
After the panel, attendees are invited to share food from Teta's Table, drinks from Heartwood Farm & Cidery, and prizes from Patagonia as gather to build deeper community in Toronto toward a more just future for all.

These Indigenous-led struggles to regain control of their lands and waters are a story that is being replayed by Indigenous people across Canada, and throughout the world.
There is profound meaning in showing up to listen and learn from the Indigenous peoples on the frontlines of water protection. That’s why we’re excited to see you and other Torontonians of all ages this Friday at the “Defending Water, Protecting Land” intersectional justice forum event!
