🎬✨ Rhythm and Reels: BIPOC Q***r Movie Night ✨🎬

Join The Kween Company, Shyne Body Butter, Q***r Night Out, Three Pieces Shop, and Guelph Pride for an evening of film, reflection, art, and community.
Inspired by Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and the legacy of Black q***r artistry, this BIPOC q***r-centered gathering will explore themes of expression, liberation, healing, and joy through film and conversation.

Come Join us on Thursday, June 4 to kick off the Pride season with the raising of the Pride Flag. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

The ceremony will begin at 12:00pm at City Hall (1 Carden St.) with speakers representing the City of Guelph and Out on the Shelf/Guelph Pride.

We hope you’ll join us as we raise the Pride flag together and officially welcome Pride season in Guelph! 🌈☀️

Have you been thinking about wanting to host an event for Guelph Pride and want to collab?

Here’s some helpful info on what it means to host a Guelph Pride event!

All Guelph Pride events and collaborations must be affirming and inclusive of the full diversity of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, including but not limited to BIPOC, trans and gender-diverse individuals.

Partners are expected to actively uphold equity-focused practices and help create spaces that are welcoming, accessible, and free from discrimination.

All events also must meet a minimum of 4 of our points of accessibility which can be found on our website at outontheshelf.com/pride

Guelph Pride events create spaces where everyone can celebrate and be proud of who they are and they are a commitment to our community to uplift Q***r Joy!

We might be a little late to the party this year but announcing our Spring Pride: June 4-14, 2026

With a new chair on deck and a fired up team forming we are excited to officially announce our Pride dates

Our Pride in the park main event will be happening on Sunday, June 7 so save the date!

We are currently looking for volunteers to help on all areas of Pride, set up, take downs, organizing of events, social media, communications etc! If you are interested please find our volunteer form at outontheshelf.com/volunteer or email [email protected] with any inquires.
