This summer we want to remove invasive plants along the Speed River from Edinburgh Rd to Gow’s Bridge and we need your help! Every Wednesday through June, we will be removing invasive plants and re-planting areas with native ones that provide food, shelter, and other ecosystem services for wildlife.

Join us on Wednesday nights from 6-8PM at the Terry Fox Rock located on Royal City Park Trail near Edinburgh Rd and Wellington St. All equipment will be provided as well as some tunes to keep the good vibes flowing! For those that are driving, there is a parking lot nearby that is accessible from Edinburgh Rd.

Hello Guelph community! We need your help to clean the Eramosa-Speed shoreline of pollutants. Garbage can not only be physically harmful, but chemicals can leach out that are toxic to wildlife and domestic life (us).

Meet at the covered bridge by the Boathouse Tea Room and join us to clean our waterways on Wednesday June 3, 2026 from 5:30-7:00 PM. Do it for the snapping turtle and belted kingfisher that call these rivers their homes (amongst many other species).

We will provide light refreshments, but bring a water bottle and desire to keep our community clean!
