Community spirit in action! ❤️🚛

Yesterday, Lee (pictured) and John picked up an amazing donation from the Hillsburgh Firefighters’ Association following their annual garage sale!

They generously invited our ReStores to collect the items left after the sale, giving these pieces a second chance while helping support our community!

A huge thank you to the Hillsburgh firefighters for continuing this thoughtful partnership. It’s a great example of what happens when neighbours help neighbours!

Good people, great teamwork, and a whole lot of community impact! 🙌♻️

Meet the Team 👋

Meet Jerry, one of our dedicated volunteers who has been part of the Restore team for the past 4½ years!
Jerry first got involved after meeting Deb at a theatre show. When Deb overheard that he had his truck license, the rest was history! What started as a simple conversation turned into years of giving back and making a difference.😎

Jerry’s favourite part of volunteering at Restore is knowing he’s helping the community. His willingness to jump in and lend a hand has made him an important part of the team.

And here’s an incredible fun fact! Jerry traveled to the Geographic North Pole in 2005, and while he was there, he joined the Polar Bear Club! Talk about a cool adventure!❄️
