✨ A little magic is coming to Guelph..
Feminist Events is changing and morphing into Whimsy World!
As I've moved through the seasons of life, what I want to bring into the world has changed. In the years of Feminist Events we built spaces rooted in intersectional feminism, community care, and the belief that everyone deserves to belong.
Those roots aren't going anywhere.
They'll be the base of what's to come which will be rooted in more whimsy, wonder and tending to our inner child while fostering community connections.
Some new things are bubbling up and taking shape - tiny moments of delight, and the kind of gatherings that make adulthood feel expansive instead of exhausting.
Because in a world that asks us to produce more, buy more, and hurry more...choosing play is radical.
Leaning into wonder is healing.
Choosing to do so in community is healing!
So, welcome to Whimsy World. ✨
A place where strangers become neighbours.
Where creativity matters more than perfection or production.
Where imagination is taken seriously.
And where we get to practice building the kind of world we actually want to live in.
