On Friday March 27th, 2026, the Athletics Department at the University of Guelph gathered all of our part-time staff together to celebrate a year of growth, success, and achievements! 🥳

Our Active Kids & Camp programs could not be the programs they are without the dedication and creativity from our student staff. Thank you to everyone on the team for all your hard work and exceptional programming!

⚾️Baseball season has started and we are excited to announce our Girls at Bat Camp (ages 8-12) during the week of Aug.17th-21st. A fun camp learning about leadership, friendship, confidence and even a little baseball. This camp is designed in partnership with the Jays Care Foundation.
No experience or equipment necessary, everything is supplied. Spots are limited so register before it's too late. It'll be a blast!

Gryphon Camps is hosting two 2-day camps during the first week after school ends this year. That's right, you don't have to worry about using a whole week and having Canada Day midway. Rather, you can pick one our both camps to fit your schedule. What a great opportunity for your camper to try camp, as it's only two days.

📌ATTENTION: We have some new babysitters prepared to go out and babysit. This past Friday, we had 16 participants learn about babysitting and are now prepared to go out and give parents a little break.
This group was so attentive and did a great job learning about infants and school aged children. They are ready to lead fun games at the house and ensure children are safe. Great job to these individuals for completing the Babysitting Course Workshop!

❄️☃️As we wrap up the year and have this wintery weather, let's take a look at highlight photos from our Gryphon Winter Break Camp that took place last week. We had a blast indoors and outdoors working together on fun challenges and adventures. Even Gryph came out to say "hi" to all the campers. Wishing all our campers that best for 2026!
