Across Ontario, labour activists are beginning to step forward as candidates for the 2026 municipal elections. The CLC Ontario Women's School is offering an exceptional opportunity to help future candidates build the skills, confidence, and campaign knowledge needed to win.

Candidate Development for Women is specifically designed to help candidates develop the skills, confidence, and practical tools needed to run effective campaigns and succeed in public office. Even more exciting, the course will be co-facilitated by Peggy Nash and Vicky Smallman.

I realized that I'm often posting but no one sees me. Here I am at the booth. Damp but in good spirits enjoying the community spirit.

Day 3 of the multicultural festival in Guelph. It is a bit more waterlogged than I would like, but spirits are high. Come by and visit me in the tent today. We had postal workers helping out this morning.

Day 2 of the multicultural festival. I am extremely grateful to the unions that have provided volunteers and swag for our table. We hope you can stop by to sign petitions for the nurses, postal workers and educators. We are also offering an opportunity for a very informal vote for what matters most to you.
