This is what reproductive violence actually looks like. Tonya Reaves walked into a Chicago Planned Parenthood for an abortion. Her child was dismembered. Her uterus was perforated. An artery was torn. She hemorrhaged for hours and died. International abortion profiteers are trying to equate life-saving pro-life laws with reproductive violence. It won't fly. Tonya Reaves is the record they want forgotten. Remember her.

Under current federal legislation, the expansion of euthanasia (MAiD) to individuals whose sole underlying medical condition is a mental illness is scheduled to take effect on March 17, 2027. Bill C-218 would prevent that expansion.

This bill is scheduled for the second hour of debate in the House of Commons today, September 23, followed by a vote on October 7. If it passes second reading it will go to committee for further study.

Now is the time for Canadians to speak up and encourage their MPs to protect vulnerable people and maintain the current exclusion. Find your MP's contact info at ourcommons.ca/Members. Ask them to represent your voice by voting in favour of Bill C-218 on October 7.
